The University of South Carolina Beaufort will be offering a number of new Honors Programs at its Beaufort Campus for the Fall 2018 semester. In conjunction with these new Honors Programs, the University will be offering its students two new apartment-style residence halls known as the Honors A & B Residence Hall Community. The two buildings housing 92 students will welcome students in August 2018. Each apartment features a common living area with full sized kitchen that includes a refrigerator, microwave, stove and dishwasher. All apartments are also equipped with a washer dryer and Wi-Fi access.
The Beaufort Jasper Higher Education Commission on behalf of the University of South Carolina Beaufort issued a Request for Proposal to provide off campus student housing in Beaufort, SC. In response to that request, 303 Associates was selected to be the developer for these new residence halls.
303 Associates, LLC is a real estate development and management company based in Beaufort, South Carolina. 303 Associates builds, owns and manages retail, commercial and residential properties. Richard R. “Dick” Stewart, Managing Member of 303 Associates said “these residence halls continue our investments in Beaufort’s future and in higher education”.
Fraser Construction Company, LLC was selected by 303 Associates to build the new residence halls. Fraser Construction, based in Bluffton, SC has built seven residence halls and the Indoor Athletic Facility at USCB’s New River Campus in Bluffton and is currently building USCB’s new Hospitality Management Facility on its planned Hilton Head Island campus.
