King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort renovates historic ballrooms
This winter, Fraser Construction has been renovating the historic ballrooms of the King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort, St. Simmons Island, for MMI hotel group. The highlight of the renovation is adding a grand design of ornate wood reveals on the ceiling of the Delegal dining room and an ornamental wood check in desk. On February 6th, the Brunswick News interviewed Micheal Johnson, the General Manager on the Hotel, on the progress. In the words of Johnson, "We're restoring the hotel to where it was back in the '40's and '50's.
