City of Beaufort/Town of Port Royal Fire Department Station #2 Breaks Ground

The City of Beaufort/Town of Port Royal combined Fire Department celebrated the start of the new fire station #2 construction on Ribout Road in Beaufort. Fraser Construction will be managing the project slated to be complete in November 2015. Members from the Beaufort City Council, Town of Port Royal Council, The combined fire department, Fraser Construction, and Hussey Gay Bell architecture and engineering spaded gold shovels into the fresh pad.
Following the ceremony, the drill rig installing earthquake drain foundations fired up and got to work, with many of the attendees curiously watching the unique process.
