Career and Advanced Technology Education (CATE) Center at Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School breaks ground today in Ridgeland, SC.
The Jasper County School District is one step closer to opening its new Career and Advanced Technology Education (CATE) Center at Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School after their ground breaking today in Ridgeland, SC.
The $9.85 million project will allow the school district to offer a number of programs, potentially including science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), health science, information technology, and transportation, distribution and logistics.
“The Jasper CATE Center is a vital resource for our community, teaching technical skills and giving students options for good-paying jobs right out of high school,” said Jay Fraser, Vice President of Operations for Fraser Construction, which is handling construction for the project. It’s not the first such project for Fraser Construction, which also worked to renovate the Beaufort-Jasper Academy for Career Excellence (ACE) in 2011.
