| The First
Presbyterian Church of Hilton Head Island, SC, was expanded to add
approximately 11,680 square feet and increase the seating to 1,000, while
gutting and renovating the original 8,150 square feet to reorient the focus of
the Nave. The structure of the Nave is glue-laminated timber framing, with
brick exterior walls and asphalt shingle roof. A two-story Educational Wing of
approximately 12,000 square feet was also added to the church complex. |
