The Children’s Center is a 23,392 sq. ft day care and early childhood education building including eight rooms for infants, 1-2 year olds, 2-3 year olds, 4-5 year olds plus rooms for creative arts, library/family resources, administration, kitchen and a multi-purpose room. The structure is aerated concrete block walls and light gauge metal trusses. Exterior finishes include stucco, cementitious siding, storefront glass, standing seam metal roofing and asphalt shingles. Interior finishes include hard coat plaster on block walls, ceramic tile and vinyl floors, painted drywall, acoustical ceilings and plastic laminate cabinets and storage areas.
